This dragon is at home in frigid waters and in the icy winds with equal ease.
This was my Christmas card for 2005. Some of them I printed on a metallic greeting card paper and the colors need to be very brilliant to show up well on this media, as the metallic stock tends to dull it slightly. So I boosted the blues and cyans here quite a bit. This is, like many of my dragon illustrations, drawn with micron pens, scanned in and colored in Photoshop, then I used some of my digital photos as the backdrop. This one uses ice and dew.
